Color themed parties are so much fun to plan- especially when the color matches the child’s personality so well. We planned a yellow themed birthday party for a very sweet young lady who had a smile as bright as the decorations we made.
The first thing you will notice is the canopy. We custom crafted this canopy by using PVC pipe, a bed sheet and ruffle curtains.
Yellow and white balloons were a great color addition to this display. They were also a fun give away to party guests.
Along the curtains we have the birthday girl’s name and some yellow butterflies. We also included a “4” on the table display.
Another fun addition to the party is the yellow “tutu” table skirt. We used a combination of plain and glitter yellow to add just the right amount of sparkle to the decor.
Let’s take a closer look at the dessert table. Food Table: (from Left) Lemonade, finger sandwiches, popcorn, cake pops, lemon bars, yellow dipped pretzels, assorted candy display
Here is a closer look at the popcorn, cake pops, and candy display
The candy display was used as the party favor for the kids- there were mango gummy bears, yellow rock candy, yellow nerds, and bright yellow gumballs. Each child got to build their own take home candy goody bag.
The lemon bars were a big hit of the party and a perfect addition to the yellow theme!
Don’t you just love these cake pops? The birthday girl certainly did! She wanted to have these cake pops instead of a traditional birthday cake for her guests and we thought that was a great idea. Perfect serving size for the little ones.
Yellow chocolate dipped pretzels also were perfect for the theme.

Last but not least – you can’t have a yellow party without lemonade!
