Another fun beach themed party by Inpsired Occasions! We had the pleasure of doing a 2nd birthday party for a very special girl at Aqua Tots. Below are some of the pictures.

Dessert and Food Table (cake provided by Aqua Tots).  Since there was a beach theme, we wanted to incorporate bright colors and we wanted to make it fun for a 2 year old to enjoy.  Aqua Tots provided the basis for the colors of red, yellow and blue and the party was for a girl so we used beach balls and Hawaiian leis as an inspiration.   We found brightly colored fans and wanted to incorporate them into the dessert table centerpieces to make a big impact so we added the “Happy 2nd Birthday” on one and “Sariah” on the other to personalize the party.  They were a big hit!  The fans were stabilized in a bucket of white sand to add to the beach theme.  Other important details of décor are the grass skirt and lei border as well as the colorful dessert labels and the table runner with bright colors to match the fans.

Dessert/Food Table with “Ocean Water” Drink. We used bright colored placemats to decorate the table for the drink which matched the table runner and centerpieces of the dessert table.  The inflatable fish and whale finished off the décor and also gave the kids something fun to play with while waiting to swim and eat.

These photos show the overview of room to include the tables where the kids ate and the backdrop we created for photos.  Check out the above photo to see the personalized banner which is in a tropical flower shape.  The backdrop consists of two types of bulletin paper, a cloud pattern and a solid blue pattern cut into waves at the top and embellished with white paint for waves.  We used beach balls, a beach chair, colorful umbrella, bogie board as well as a beach mat and white table cloth to look like sand.  The party goers had a lot of fun taking pictures with our various props and backdrop!

The below photo shows the table where the kids ate.  We lined the table with tropical leaves which looked great with the dessert table grass skirt.  The centerpieces were half beach and half ocean which were a lot of fun to create.  We used real sand and tissue paper for the ocean.  Fun cutouts such as beach balls, sun, flip flops, flowers, crabs, popsicles, turtles, seals, octopus, seahorse, fish and seals were included as well as personalized pennants and birthday décor for Sariah were included in the centerpieces.  You will see in the below photos that some were taken after the party in my back yard.  We didn’t get many close ups at the party from the photographer and we still wanted you to see the details of the centerpieces so we apologize for the photos that are of lesser quality at the end.  We allowed the mom to keep all personalized items with Sariah’s name so the pennants are missing from the last photos but you can see some in the next few pictures.   The animal crackers and goldfish plates on the tables were provided by Aqua Tots as part of the birthday package as well as the balloons.
