Summer is finally here and graduation parties are in full swing! We just did one graduation party in particular that was a ton of fun. Our graduate was graduating from high school and is going to be attending Texas A & M University in the fall. We had the pleasure of doing decorations and desserts for her graduation night dinner and doing desserts and decorations for a party she had with a friend that is also going to Texas A & M. This party a lot of fun because we got to work with such wonderful people as well as work with a great theme.
The desserts were a lot of fun to create because we stayed with the theme of maroon and white using Texas and the Aggie sayings for inspiration. Below are some pictures from the dessert table at the graduation dinner.
Thumbprint Cookies, Maroon and White Cookies, Brownies
A & M Themed Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Mexican Wedding Cookies, Texas A & M Themed Sugar Cookies
Red Velvet Texas A & M Cake, Chocolate and Vanilla Cupcakes, Sugar Cookies, Brownies, and Maroon and White Cookies
For the co-graduation party we stuck with the similar theme for the desserts but changed the dessert menu slightly. My favorite were definitely the red velvet whoopie pies which were a great focal point for the dessert station.

The decorations for the graduation dinner were very unique and well thought out. We created a seating chart and made mini graduation cap place cards for all of the guests. We then created centerpieces using pictures of the graduate and the guests and organized them on the table in such a way that in front of every guest was a picture with them and the graduate. We stuck with the maroon and white theme and decorated the table with pendants and pom-poms for centerpieces. The dessert table was a lot of fun to decorate because we were able to use marquee lights to create a light-up 2015. The pictures are below.
For the graduation party we reused several of the decoration items from the dinner but incorporated pictures of the two graduates together into a lot of the centerpieces. The pictures are below.
